Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - Emergency Room Nurse (ED)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med Surg and Emergency Room departments. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing critical thinking skills and clinical expertise to assess and treat patients in need of medical attention.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in the Med Surg and Emergency Room settings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Adhere to best practices and clinical guidelines for patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Med Surg or Emergency Room setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
