Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse with a background in Case Management and Utilization Review to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care while ensuring efficient utilization of healthcare resources.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality of care and optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate the utilization of healthcare resources to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Participate in case reviews and utilization management meetings
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Case Management or Utilization Review
- BSN or higher degree in Nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies
