Job Title: Administrative Supervisor - Nursing Manager/Director
Job Summary:
The Administrative Supervisor - Nursing Manager/Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. They work closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise and direct nursing staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve workflow and efficiency within the nursing department
- Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing constructive feedback and support as needed
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Manage budget and resources effectively to optimize operational performance
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care
- Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the nursing department
- Collaborate with senior management to drive organizational success and growth
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals
