Job Title: House Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized House Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our residential facility. The House Supervisor will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Supervise and provide guidance to housekeeping staff
2. Coordinate and assign daily tasks to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner
3. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations
4. Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management to address any concerns or issues
5. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of services
6. Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
7. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
8. Handle resident requests and complaints in a professional and timely manner
9. Assist with budget planning and monitoring of expenses
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and a positive resident experience
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a residential setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
