Job title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a Travel RN in the PCU, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with serious medical conditions who are not critical enough for the intensive care unit.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as needed.
2. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
3. Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results to provide appropriate treatment.
4. Educate patients and their families on proper health management techniques.
5. Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU setting.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
5. Flexibility to travel and work in different healthcare facilities.
