Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist with experience in the Operating Room setting to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures, ensuring that all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare operating room by setting up surgical equipment and instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Monitor and maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure efficiency during procedures
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment after procedures
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Previous experience working in an Operating Room setting
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
