Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med-surg Adult to join our team. This position involves providing nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting while traveling to various locations as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions and vital signs
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
3. Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
4. Providing education and support to patients and their families
5. Ensuring the safe and effective delivery of nursing care
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
7. Adhering to hospital policies and procedures
8. Participating in quality improvement initiatives
9. Maintaining professional competency through ongoing education and training
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active RN license in good standing
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical-surgical adult setting
3. BLS certification
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Flexibility to travel to different locations as needed
7. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
8. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
9. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
