Job title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Access Hospital RN
Job Summary:
As a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Critical Access Hospital care, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a rural healthcare setting. Your duties will include assessing patient health, developing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality treatment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health and medical history
2. Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
4. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
5. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
6. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
7. Document patient care accurately and efficiently
8. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Access Hospital nursing
3. BLS and ACLS certification
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
7. Flexibility to travel and work in different healthcare settings
8. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
