Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join our team as an Emergency Room Nurse. As a Travel RN, you will provide care for patients in a fast-paced and stressful environment, ensuring that each patient receives the highest quality care possible. You will work closely with emergency room physicians, other healthcare professionals, and first responders to provide immediate medical attention and treatment to patients in need.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patients' conditions and prioritize care based on the severity of the situation
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and assist with diagnostic tests as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and think quickly in high-pressure situations
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare settings
