Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests on patient samples
- Prepare specimens for analysis and interpret results
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Follow strict protocols and procedures to ensure accuracy and precision in test results
- Record and document test results accurately
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
