Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. The Medical Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for performing complex medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This individual will work closely with laboratory staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers to provide accurate and timely test results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform a variety of complex laboratory tests including molecular, biochemical, hematological, and microbiological tests
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Analyze and interpret test results
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols
- Stay current on new developments in laboratory science
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
- Medical Laboratory Scientist certification
