Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Surgery Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join our OR Surgery Services team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Travel RN, you will have the opportunity to travel to various healthcare facilities across the country while gaining valuable experience in OR Surgery Services.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in the OR setting, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative care, and post-operative monitoring
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medication as needed during surgical procedures
- Assist with surgical procedures, including setting up the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and preparing patients for surgery
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in OR Surgery Services
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to different healthcare facilities
