Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-surg Adult
Job Summary: As a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in med-surg adult care, you will be responsible for providing patient care in a hospital setting while traveling to various locations across the United States. You will work with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct physical assessments and administer medications to adult patients in a med-surg setting
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and assess patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality of care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of med-surg adult nursing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare settings
