Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Tele RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical/Telemetry care to join our team. As a Travel RN, you will provide compassionate and high-quality patient care while traveling to various healthcare facilities across the country. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for your patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitoring and interpreting patient vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educating patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel and work in various healthcare settings
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
