Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Radiation Oncology Clinic RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Radiation Oncology Clinic team. As a travel RN, you will provide compassionate and specialized care to patients undergoing radiation therapy. Your role will involve administering treatments, monitoring patients' progress, and educating patients and their families on their treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their treatment and care
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation oncology nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent observation and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and equipment
- Willingness to travel and work in various healthcare settings
