Job Title: Critical Access Director of Nursing
Job Summary:
The Critical Access Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations within a critical access hospital or healthcare facility. This role involves developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing nursing staff, and ensuring that high-quality patient care is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Manage nursing staff and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Monitor patient care activities and ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes
- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff
- Review and analyze nursing metrics and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with the healthcare administration to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (Master's degree preferred)
- Current registered nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience in a leadership role in healthcare
