Job Title: CNA LTC (Certified Nursing Assistant Long Term Care)
Job Summary:
As a CNA LTC, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a long-term care facility. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Transfer residents to and from their beds, wheelchairs, and other mobility devices
- Help residents with eating and drinking, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and hydration
- Perform regular checks on residents' vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Keep accurate records of patient care activities and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassion and empathy for elderly and disabled individuals
