Job title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU/PCU
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU/PCU Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Travel RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings across the country while gaining valuable experience and expanding your skill set.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU and PCU units
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess their condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on their condition and treatment options
- Document patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a safe environment for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU/PCU nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel and work in different healthcare settings
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
