Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg Ortho
Job Summary:
The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg Ortho will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role requires a deep understanding of orthopedic surgeries and post-operative care, as well as experience in medical-surgical nursing.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families on post-operative care and rehabilitation
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate medical records
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, with a focus on orthopedics
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to travel and work in various healthcare settings
