Job Title: Nursing Administrative Supervisor Nursing Manager/Director
Job Summary:
The Nursing Administrative Supervisor Nursing Manager/Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring quality patient care, and providing leadership to nursing staff. This individual will be responsible for staffing, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Supervise nursing staff and ensure that they are providing high-quality patient care.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of nursing operations.
3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff to identify areas for improvement.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
5. Assist with recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff.
6. Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care and nursing operations.
7. Manage the department budget and ensure that resources are being utilized effectively.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices in nursing care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's preferred)
2. Current RN license
3. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
4. Strong leadership and communication skills
5. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills
8. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
