Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Hospice RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Hospice RN to provide quality end-of-life care to patients in various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in hospice care and be willing to travel to different healthcare facilities to provide support and comfort to patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients, including pain management, symptom control, and emotional support
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care options and available resources
- Monitor and assess patient condition, progress, and response to treatment
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families during the end-of-life process
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license, BLS certification, and specialty certification in hospice care
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in hospice care
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to different locations and work varied schedules
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to end-of-life care
