Job Summary:
As a Long Term Acute Care Acute Care RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients with complex medical needs in a long-term acute care setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, and coordinate ongoing care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients
- Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting care plans as needed
- Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
