Job Title: CNA LTC (Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care)
Job Summary:
The CNA LTC provides direct patient care and assistance to residents in a long-term care facility. They work under the supervision of registered nurses and assist with daily activities, monitoring patient health, and ensuring the overall comfort and well-being of residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Helping with meal planning and feeding residents who are unable to feed themselves
- Keeping patient rooms clean and organized
- Following all healthcare protocols and procedures to ensure resident safety
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide the best possible care for residents
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- Previous experience in long-term care or a similar setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
