Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Med Surg RN
Job Summary:
As a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Med Surg RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute medical surgical setting. You will work as part of a team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to delivering compassionate care to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Documenting patient care and progress accurately and timely
- Educating patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Participating in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences
- Adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in good standing
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of acute med surg nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments
- Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities
