Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) PCU
Job Summary: As a Travel RN working in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will provide care for patients who require intermediate care, monitoring, and treatment. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and administer medications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Assist with procedures such as insertion of IV lines and catheters.
4. Educate patients and their families on proper care and post-discharge instructions.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU or similar setting.
3. BLS and ACLS certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
