Job Title: Registered Nurse, LPN, Long Term Care (LTC)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
2. Monitor and assess residents' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
4. Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
5. Educate residents and their families about their health conditions and treatment options.
6. Ensure residents' safety and well-being at all times.
7. Document all care provided in residents' medical records.
8. Adhere to all nursing standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
2. Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
3. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Basic computer skills for electronic medical record documentation.
7. BLS certification.
8. Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
