Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit while traveling to various locations across the United States.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
2. Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
4. Monitoring and documenting patient conditions and responses to treatments
5. Educating patients and their families on disease management and prevention
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
7. Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures
8. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting
3. BLS and ACLS certification
4. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Willingness to travel to various locations across the United States
8. Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
