Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Adult care to join our team. As a Travel RN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in psychiatric units, mental health facilities, and other healthcare settings. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and provide emotional support to those experiencing behavioral health issues.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and create individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient progress and provide emotional support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Adult nursing
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
