Job Summary:
As a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in need of dialysis treatment while traveling to various healthcare facilities. You will work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and dialysis technicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer dialysis treatment to patients according to prescribed protocols.
2. Monitor and assess patient vital signs and dialysis machine functions during treatment.
3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
4. Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, medications, and lifestyle changes.
5. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
6. Maintain a clean and safe dialysis environment for patients and staff.
7. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
2. BLS certification.
3. At least 1 year of experience in dialysis nursing.
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to adapt to different work environments and travel frequently.
