Job Title: Operating Room / Circulate, Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room / Circulate, Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to patients during surgical procedures and in the post-anesthesia care unit. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare operating room and assist surgical team during procedures
- Circulate in the operating room to ensure all equipment and supplies are readily available
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
- Administer medications as needed
- Provide post-operative care and monitor patients in the PACU
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room and PACU settings
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare laws and regulations
