Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg RN
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Med Surg RN. As a Travel RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. This position requires flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare issues, medications, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Med Surg RN
- BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Willingness to travel and work in various healthcare facilities across the United States
