Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our team. The Medical Technologist will be responsible for conducting tests on various biological samples to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform laboratory tests including blood counts, urinalysis, and chemical analyses
- Analyze test results for accuracy and validity
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
- Prepare specimens for testing and ensure proper handling and storage
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Keep accurate records of all tests performed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret test results and provide valuable insights
- Stay current on new technologies and techniques in the field of medical technology
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory software
- Ability to work independently and follow protocols
