Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Skilled Nursing (SNF)
Job Summary: As a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in SNF settings. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to create individualized care plans, monitor and assess patients' conditions, administer medications, perform wound care, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and evaluate patients' medical conditions and develop a care plan accordingly.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
4. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
6. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and medications accurately.
7. Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols.
8. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
9. Provide guidance and support to nursing assistants and other staff members.
10. Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in nursing.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in SNF or long-term care settings.
3. BLS certification.
4. Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Basic computer skills for documenting patient care.
10. Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities.
