Job Title: Acute Care RN Manager (Emergency Room Nurse)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Acute Care RN Manager to oversee our Emergency Room department and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and supervise a team of nurses and medical staff in the Emergency Room department
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and efficiency
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Providing clinical leadership and support to staff
- Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members
- Handling patient complaints and resolving conflicts
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency nursing
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency care protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Certification in ACLS, PALS and TNCC preferred
