Job Title: Perioperative, Operating Room / Circulate (RN PreOp/PACU)
Job Summary:
As a Perioperative, Operating Room / Circulate RN specializing in PreOp/PACU, you will be responsible for providing quality care to patients before and after surgical procedures. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and prepare patients for surgery in the PreOp area
- Provide post-operative care and monitoring in the PACU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition throughout the perioperative process
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the surgical team
- Ensure a safe and sterile operating room environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing, with a focus on PreOp and PACU
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
