Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting with procedures involving the gastrointestinal tract and providing patient care before, during, and after these procedures. This is a travel position, allowing you to work in various healthcare settings across the country.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide post-procedure care
- Educate patients on pre-operative and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Nurse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to different healthcare facilities
