Job Title: Paramedic/EMT Paramedic
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paramedic/EMT Paramedic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including ambulances, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The Paramedic/EMT Paramedic will respond to emergency calls, assess patients' conditions, administer treatment, and transport patients to medical facilities as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
- Assess patients' conditions and determine appropriate treatment
- Administer necessary medical interventions, such as CPR, medication, and IV therapy
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities, following all protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and provide detailed patient reports
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on medical advances and best practices
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid certification as a Paramedic or EMT Paramedic
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move patients
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
