Job Title: Director of Inpatient Services (Interim to permanent opportunity)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Director of Inpatient Services to oversee and manage all aspects of our inpatient services department on an interim basis with the potential for a permanent position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, and providing leadership to the inpatient services team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the inpatient services department
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage the department budget and resources effectively
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff members
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes
- Implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and overall service delivery
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Current RN license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an inpatient healthcare setting
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proven track record of achieving positive outcomes in a healthcare setting
