Job Title: OR Technologist, Operating Room / Scrub, Scrub Technologist, Surgical Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled OR technologist to join our team in the operating room. The OR technologist will be responsible for preparing and maintaining surgical equipment, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring the operating room is sterile and safe for patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment for procedures
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
- Monitor patient vital signs during surgery
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide assistance as needed
- Document patient care accurately and timely
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
- Previous experience working in an operating room setting
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments and equipment
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
