Job Title: RN PCU, Critical Care (CCU)
Job Summary:
The RN PCU, Critical Care (CCU) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care and Critical Care Units. They assess patients, monitor vital signs, administer medications, collaborate with healthcare team members, and educate patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patient conditions in the PCU and CCU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to create individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
- At least 2 years of experience in PCU or CCU setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
