Job Title: Registered Nurse Med/Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to patients in a medical/surgical setting, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for a variety of medical and surgical conditions
- Administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and vital signs
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
- Educating patients and families on treatment plans and aftercare instructions
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Previous experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
