Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care across Special Care Unit (SCU), Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) Adult, and Emergency Room (ER) units. This role requires clinical versatility, excellent critical thinking, and the ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients in SCU, Med-Surg, and ER settings based on established standards and protocols
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, and other clinical procedures
Respond promptly to emergency situations with appropriate interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education

Qualifications:

Current RN license in [Insert State]
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (as required by unit)
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in SCU, Med-Surg, or ER preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and adaptability
