As a Critical Access Hospital RN, you will deliver comprehensive care in a rural or remote hospital setting, often serving multiple units such as Med-Surg, ER, and Swing Bed. This role requires strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and the ability to manage a wide range of patient conditions due to the hospital's limited resources and staff.


๐Ÿ” Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients in multiple care settings (ER, Med-Surg, Swing Bed, etc.)

  • Respond to emergencies and stabilize patients until higher-level care is available

  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform assessments

  • Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans

  • Document patient care accurately in EMR systems

  • Participate in on-call shifts, emergency preparedness, and cross-training as needed
