As a Critical Access Hospital RN, you will deliver comprehensive care in a rural or remote hospital setting, often serving multiple units such as Med-Surg, ER, and Swing Bed. This role requires strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and the ability to manage a wide range of patient conditions due to the hospital's limited resources and staff.
Provide direct care to patients in multiple care settings (ER, Med-Surg, Swing Bed, etc.)
Respond to emergencies and stabilize patients until higher-level care is available
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform assessments
Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans
Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
Participate in on-call shifts, emergency preparedness, and cross-training as needed
Active RN license in [State]
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
1โ2 years of acute care or rural hospital experience preferred
