We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented Resident Care Technician (Patient Care Technician - Acute) to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The PCT will work closely with nurses and clinical teams to support patients with daily activities, basic medical tasks, and emotional support.
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, ambulation, and toileting
Take and record vital signs, blood glucose levels, weight, and other basic health measurements
Support nurses and doctors by preparing patients for procedures and assisting during basic medical tasks
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Document patient care and observations in medical records accurately and promptly
Respond promptly to patient calls and needs
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Transport patients to and from diagnostic departments, surgery, or other treatment areas
Uphold patient dignity, privacy, and respect in all interactions
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) training program preferred
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
1+ year experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations
Full-Time / Part-Time | Rotating shifts | Weekends and holidays may be required
