📄 Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform routine laboratory testing and assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. The MLT will operate lab instruments, analyze specimens, and ensure accurate results under the supervision of a Medical Technologist or Laboratory Manager.

This is a critical role that supports patient care by ensuring laboratory tests are performed efficiently and accurately in a timely manner.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.)
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
Record and verify test results using lab information systems (LIS)
Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results and report any anomalies
Maintain quality control and quality assurance protocols
Comply with safety standards and infection control policies
Assist in inventory control and supply ordering
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

✅ Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
Certification or eligibility for certification by ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent
State licensure as required (varies by state)
1–2 years of clinical lab experience preferred (new grads welcome)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with lab instrumentation and LIS systems
