Registered Dietitian (RD)
The Registered Dietitian provides evidence-based nutritional care, counseling, and education to promote health, manage medical conditions, and improve patient outcomes. This role works closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop personalized nutrition plans and support overall wellness.
Assess patients’ nutritional needs through medical history, lab results, and lifestyle evaluation.
Develop individualized meal plans and nutrition programs.
Educate patients and families on healthy eating, disease management, and dietary modifications.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Stay updated with current nutrition science, guidelines, and best practices.
Document patient interactions and care plans in compliance with medical standards.
Provide group education sessions, workshops, or community health programs as needed.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
Completion of ACEND-accredited supervised practice program.
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential.
State licensure (if required).
Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, food science, and medical nutrition therapy.
Excellent communication, counseling, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Public Health.
Specialized certification (e.g., Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist).
Experience in clinical, outpatient, or community health settings.
Bilingual or multilingual skills.
