We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Assistant / Phlebotomist to support our laboratory and clinical teams. The role involves performing venipuncture, specimen collection, sample processing, and assisting in daily lab operations to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic testing.
Collect blood, urine, and other specimens using proper phlebotomy and safety techniques.
Label, prepare, and transport samples for laboratory analysis.
Verify patient identification and maintain accurate documentation.
Assist in basic laboratory tasks including specimen processing, centrifugation, and data entry.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and professionalism during specimen collection.
Maintain inventory and stock of lab supplies.
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy or Clinical Laboratory Assistant program preferred.
Certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a clinical lab environment desirable.
