We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU / Perioperative Nurse to join our surgical care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery or procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the post-operative phase.
Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, assessing vital signs and consciousness levels.
Manage pain and postoperative symptoms effectively.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and reports.
Follow hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.
Respond quickly to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions if needed.
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.
Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU, ICU, or Perioperative Nursing.
BLS and ACLS certification required (PALS preferred).
Strong knowledge of anesthesia recovery procedures and postoperative care.
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills.
