We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to individuals requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions. This role is ideal for nurses experienced in step-down or telemetry care.
Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in the PCU / Step-down Unit.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses to treatment.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Administer medications, manage IVs, and ensure accurate charting.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
Participate in care planning, discharge coordination, and interdisciplinary rounds.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (State-specific).
2+ years of acute care or PCU experience preferred.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills.
Experience with telemetry or step-down units highly desirable.
