Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery Operating Room / Circulate

🩺 Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (Circulator RN) to join our surgical team. The RN Circulator plays a vital role in ensuring patient safety and seamless surgical flow before, during, and after procedures. This nurse acts as the patient advocate in the OR, managing pre-op prep, maintaining sterility, and assisting the surgical team throughout the case.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures and verify equipment setup.
Circulate during surgeries, ensuring sterile technique and safety protocols are maintained.
Monitor patient condition and vital signs throughout the procedure.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and scrub techs for optimal outcomes.
Handle surgical specimens and maintain accurate documentation.
Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and post-operative transfer.
Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

🎓 Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
1–2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience preferred.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
